Join us for a tea party as we celebrate 90 years since the Representation of the People Act 1928, which gave all men and women over 21 the equal right to vote.
There’ll be tea, cake and an excellent panel of local councillors and politicians, who will be discussing what democracy and equality means to us today.
100% of profits from ticket sales will be donated to the Fawcett Society – the UK’s leading charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights.
The ticket price includes tea/coffee and snacks, however there is a bar available at the venue for purchasing additional drinks.
This event is open to all - you don't need to be a Liberal Democrat member to attend
