Education Policy Speaker and Supper in Abingdon

Grammar schools are not the answer. But what is?

The Chair of the national LibDem Education Policy Working Group will be speaking along with local education experts about the challenges facing teachers and students and what policies would ensure that our education system enables ALL of our young people to reach their full potential.

Speakers Confirmed:

Lucy Nethsingha - Chair of the Education Policy Working Group, Leader of the LibDem Group on Cambridgeshire County Council, Primary Teacher and School Governor

Prof. John Howson - LibDem Education spokesperson on Oxfordshire County Council and Managing Director of DataforEducation.info

Hannah James - Head of 'The Oxfordshire Creative Academy' at Abingdon and Witney College

Some short speeches will be followed by a Q&A session where will be able to ask questions and make suggestions to the panel. You will also find out how you can contribute to the development of our party's education policies.

The panel discussion will be followed by supper for the very reasonable price off £10 - all funds raised will go to Abingdon Branch to help with the County Council election campaign.

A great chance to meet fellow supporters and find out how you can influence this vital policy area.
