We hold many events across Oxfordshire each month. These range from local party and branch meetings, talks by informative speakers and numerous social events, such as #LibDemPint evenings and political dinners. Many of our events are just for members and are not be shown here (a good reason to join - please click here to find out more!).
The following events are generally open to all, unless otherwise indicated.
Friday 18 August at 6:30pm
Join local Liberal Democrats at the TAP Social in Botley to talk about politics and more for a #LibDemPint with a difference.
The TAP Social is a craft brewery and community space that provides courses in brewing and business start-ups to people serving prison sentences, offering courses in brewing and one-on-one support in securing permanent employment to assist in effective rehabilitation.
The founder of TAP will be giving a short talk at the beginning of the evening about this innovative social enterprise and the work they do helping people into employment.
There is a band plan playing from 8pm, so the LibDemPint will finish then, but TAP invite everyone attending to stay for the rest of the evening to enjoy the music.
It will be helpful to let know TAP how many of us to expect, so if are able attend, please let Emily Smith know by RSVPing below.

Organised by the Villages Branch of Oxford West & Abingdon Liberal Democrats.
With summer in full swing, Oxford is teeming with visitors from all over the world and, with conference just a month away, there's a surprising amount of politics in the news. Why not join us for a relaxing evening away from it all?
We invite all members and well-wishers to gather on Thursday, August 24th from 7.30pm in the Angel and Greyhound on St. Clement's for #LibDemDrinks (nee #LibDemPint - all manner of beverages are welcome).
This is a regular social social gathering to meet, chat, and share anecdotes (or just listen in, if that's your preference). It's an excellent opportunity to find out what the Lib Dems are doing in Oxford East, discuss what policies we think are important, or just chew the fat in good company!
I hope to see you there!
