    Transport in Oxford: Discussion evening

Oxford isn't the easiest place to get around. Old-fashioned traffic management hasn't been able to adapt Oxford's ancient layout to the 50,000 people commuting into the city every day, on top of an ever-increasing number of tourists. The problems only get worse when we consider increasing population, the rise of driver-less vehicles and a post-carbon future.

How do we make the best use of the resources available to get people in and around the City in a sustainable manner? Join us for an evening of discussion, debate and policy on the issues that define politics in Oxford. The evening will begin with introductions from local campaigners, followed by an open discussion on liberal, practical and radical solutions to the transport needs of Oxford.
