David Grant & Bethia Thomas
David lives with his wife in the heart of the beautiful town of Faringdon.
He has been active in campaigning for Faringdon’s voice to be heard. David ran the successful Liberal Democrat campaign to return funding for the new building updates to increase patient capacity at the local GP surgery, where he is now a member of the Patient Participant Group.
He is a scientist working for an innovative company developing needle-free room-temperature stable vaccine technology, with the potential to improve lives across the globe.
David believes that Faringdon needs a fresh approach now if the town is to thrive in the future.
Bethia has lived in Faringdon for fifteen years and has worked in private business and with local councils supporting Faringdon town centre businesses, promoting the best of what the town has to offer.
She played an key part in helping to save Faringdon’s Preschool, supporting local schools and special needs groups, raising funds and a supporting a variety of local projects.
Recently she has secured a major source of funding to keep the Pump House Project thriving over the next few years providing vital community services in Faringdon.
As a working mother with a young family, she is passionate about Faringdon and its residents' needs, and would love the opportunity to work together to improve the future of the town, as part of the team moving our town forward.
