Adam Povey is an environmental researcher at the University of Oxford, measuring the global distribution of pollution and how it affects the world around us, and he hopes to use that experience to advise and amend the city's clean air scheme.

Adam moved to Oxford in 2005 and has lived wherever he could afford around the city since then. Increasing the number of affordable and sustainable homes around Oxford is his top priority, along with improving the council's HMO system to more effectively support and protect renters and the communities they live in. He is standing as a Liberal Democrat because they try to listen to multiple points of view to create policies that represent the desires of as many people as possible while having some chance of actually working.
