Maria Bourbon is a mental health nurse working in children and adolescent services, and a guest lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
She has lived in Marston for over ten years, with her partner and children, who continue to attend local schools.
Working as a nurse for a number of years, Maria has developed a unique understanding of the community needs and how the local authorities work, as well as their current pressures and challenges ahead.
Maria's interests include growing vegetables, listening to music, and history. She has very recently started running and hopes that, this time around, she will be able to stick to it.
She is also a keen campaigner on environmental issues and Human Rights.
