Alexandrine Kantor

Alexandrine is proud to be one of the 9% women in STEM. Her family comes from different parts of Europe and brought her up as a true European, encouraged to embrace the Freedom of Movement opportunities.
 
In an effort to combat climate change, an an issue that she is deeply concerned about, Alex started her career working in the South of France for the nuclear industry. 
In October 2014, she had an opportunity to come to the UK and she is now a Senior Electrical Designer for the Culham Science Centre (Abingdon), where she contributes to research into fusion energy. Since 2017, she has been a certified member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

She is passionate about science, technologies, social issues, politics and history.
