The Liberal Democrats are celebrating a fantastic set of election results across Oxfordshire.
The party successfully defended all five seats they were defending, all with increased majorities, and gained five more.
"This success across Oxfordshire mirrors our success nationwide," said Lib Dem MP for Oxford West & Abingdon, Layla Moran.
"We've gained seats in every council that had elections on Thursday, reflecting our gains of seats and councils across the UK."
The Lib Dem gains were:
Alaric Rose, Kidlington West, Cherwell D.C. (from the Conservatives);
Roz Smith, Quarry & Risinghurst, Oxford C.C. (from Labour);
Carl Rylett, Eynsham & Cassington, West Oxon D.C. (from the Conservatives);
Dave Jackson, The Bartons, West Oxon D.C. (from the Conservatives);
Jake Acock, Ascott & Shipton, West Oxon D.C. (from the Conservatives).
The Lib Dems also saw their share of the vote increase in the wards within the Oxford West & Abingdon constituency, from 29% in 2016 to 38% this time.
