Oxford West & Abingdon Liberal Democrats Annual Dinner this year will be on the evening of Friday March 11th at the wonderful Cherwell Boathouse in north Oxford.
Arrival at 6.30pm for a 7pm sit down.
Tickets are £65 early bird, £75 thereafter and £50 for students/concessions.
The menu is three courses, plus a glass of prosecco on arrival and a glass of red or white wine with the meal (or a soft alternative).
Choice of starter:
Cauliflower and Almond Soup (vegan)
Patridge Scotch Egg with piccalilli and honey glazed chicory
Octopus Ballotine with boo orange salsa, capers and croutons
Wild Mushroom Crostini with lovage, pickled shallots, jerusalem artichoke ketchup (can be vegan - ask in dietary choices box)
Choice of main course:
Chargrilled Cauliflower Steak, with pumpkin seed pesto, charred onion and purple potato crisps (vegan)
Crispy Skin Pork Belly, with new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red wine jus
Quinea Fowl Breast, with new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red wine jus
Silver Mullet, with new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and butter sauce
Choice of dessert
Salt Baked Pineapple with lime, coriander and coconut (can be made vegan - ask in dietary choices box)
Millionaire Shortbread with tonka bean ice cream
Rhubarb with pistachio cake and yoghurt sorbet
Two British cheeses with biscuits and quince jelly (£2.50 supplement)
