Re-Open Grove Station

We need investment to help our town and our planet to be more sustainable. Reopening Grove station is a top priority for local residents.

Re-opening Grove Station is long overdue and the council need to act now.

In recent years, investment in rail has been concentrated only in the north of the county. Despite past promises to re-open Grove Station, the Conservatives have once again failed to act.

For years Lib Dem Councillors Jenny Hannaby and Bob Johnston have been fighting to keep the focus on rail and sustainable alternatives. Liberal Democrat County Councillor Jane Hanna successfully amended the council's transport motion to include railways and to make Grove Station a priority.
