Local residents are furious at news that the Conservatives have scrapped funding for the Thame to Haddenham Community Path.
The Tory Government had previously included £8m in the Oxfordshire Growth Deal that would fund a suite of measures to support new housing in the area. Now that funding has been slashed and the money to fund the path withdrawn.
The local Liberal Democrats and Green Party in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire have joined forces to fight this decision and are calling on the Conservative-run County Council to reinstate the Community Path as part of the Growth Deal as promised OR to work with the Government to find funding for the path through an alternative fund.
I THE UNDERSIGNED CALL ON THE COUNTY COUNCIL TO REINSTATE THE THAME TO HADDENHAM COMMUNITY PATH, EITHER THROUGH THE GROWTH DEAL AN ALTERNATIVE FUND.
