Do you want to help the Wantage Constituency Liberal Democrats win at the next District Council and General Elections?

Wantage Constituency Liberal Democrats is looking to appoint a Campaign Organiser to support our Liberal Democrat Councillors on Oxfordshire County Council, South Oxfordshire and the Vale of the White Horse District Councils as well as our Prospective Parliamentary Candidate once selected.

The successful applicant will be well-organised, with a keen interest in politics and campaigning.  The primary focus is building the local volunteer network, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate others are important.  The organiser will need a high standard of IT literacy to maintain records on the party’s databases, produce effective campaign literature and develop targeted online messages through email and social media.  The post-holder will be expected to establish positive working relationships across a range of key individuals, groups and stakeholders.   

The role will report to the Chair and Treasurer of the Local Party but will be line-managed on a day-to-day basis by the South-Central Regional Campaign Manager, based in the Oxfordshire Liberal Democrats office in Abingdon. The successful applicant will be based at the Oxfordshire Liberal Democrats office in Abingdon which is shared with other party staff members including those working for Layla Moran MP for Oxford West and Abingdon. However, he or she will also be able to work from home.
